  Refining your test-taking skills.
  A guest speaker will present test-taking strategies and ways to improve scores. Everyone can benefit from this workshop.

  Medical School Roo Fair.
  FMIG will welcome the incoming Year 1 students and let them know what Family Medicine and FMIG has to offer!

  Family Medicine Residency Panel.
  We have invited Family Medicine Residents and staff from several residency programs in the Midwest to share about their programs. Come get advice from current residents!

  Casting Workshop.
  Come join us as we partner with the Surgery Interest Group to learn how to cast!

  EKG Workshop.
  Faculty and Residents from Research Medical Center will present various EKGs and teach EKG reading techniques.

  FMIG is inviting a guest speaker to present the basics of radiology reading. Come review films with us and improve your radiology skills!

  FMIG will have a speaker present practical and pertinent advice on managing your money now and in the future.

  A guest speaker will present information on who to decide what specialty is right for you.

  Strolling Through the Match.
  A panel of year 6 students will share their experiences about applying, interviewing, and matching to residency programs. Dr. Harris will present a timeline and advice about the match.

  FMIG Elections.
  Dinner and elections for 2011-2012 officers.

  National Conference Meeting.
  Come learn more about the National Conference. This will be a chance to pick up a brochure and hear what the conference has to offer. We will be discussing registration details.
